SimplyRecruited LLC (“SimplyRecruited,” ”Company," "we," or "us") operates a proprietary online platform designed to connect college tennis coaches with players seeking recruitment or transfer opportunities. Our Services include our website located at https://simplyrecruited.net (“Website”), planned mobile applications, in-app messaging features, profile management tools, video and media uploads, and subscription-based membership options (collectively, the “Services”).”
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal data when you use the Services and the choices you have regarding that data (“Privacy Policy”). This Privacy Policy is a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and the Company. By accessing and using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. Use of the Services is also subject to our Terms of Use, which govern account registration, profile activity, subscription plans, messaging, and other features specific to our recruiting platform. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control.
We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy as it may be updated from time to time. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Use.
Definitions
Information Collection and Use
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to operate, personalize, and improve the SimplyRecruited recruiting platform. Information collected includes data voluntarily provided by Coaches and Players during account creation, profile setup, and in-app activity, as well as technical and analytics data collected automatically.
For Coaches, this may include information about the college or university you represent, details about your tennis program, eligibility criteria for recruits, and recruiting preferences. For Players, this may include athletic and academic profile data, rankings, videos, recruiting preferences, and messaging activity within the platform.
Our information collection also includes the use of cookies, device identifiers, and analytics tools to better understand platform performance and enhance matching between Coaches and Players. All personal data is collected, stored, and processed in India and the United States. If you reside outside the U.S., your information will be transferred, stored, and processed in India, the United States, and in other jurisdictions where our service providers operate, under appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, including contractual confidentiality and security obligations and, where relevant, Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers..
Types of Data Collected
Information You Choose to Give Us
When you use the Services, we collect the information you choose to share with us, including certain personally identifiable information used to create your account, set up your profile, manage recruiting preferences, and communicate within the platform (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
• First name and last name
• Email address, phone number, and OTP verification
• Account registration details, including username and password
• Profile photo, videos, recruiting highlights, and media uploads
• UTR, WTN, or other ranking data, either synced through integrations or entered manually
• Academic and athletic information, such as GPA, SAT, ACT, TOEFL scores, desired major, and home country rankings
• Messaging activity within the app, including match requests, chat history, and notifications
• Subscription plan selection, payment method, and any promotional referral benefits (processed via secure third-party billing providers)
• Recruiting preferences, including school size, division, desired recruiting class, handedness, transfer status, and budget range
• Coach-specific data, including:
– University name, athletic website URL, and program details
– Division, conference, recruiting class, and eligibility requirements
– Photos of campus, facilities, dorms, or other media assets uploaded
– Additional information provided in “About Me” sections to describe recruiting priorities
• Player-specific data, including:
– Desired teams, program interest, and transfer eligibility
– Videos and media uploads to showcase recruiting potential
– Ranking and performance details, including UTR/WTN and country rankings
• Cookies, device identifiers, and usage data to analyze platform activity
• IP addresses, browser data, and geolocation information used to enhance security and optimize search and matching tools
Minors and Parental Consent
SimplyRecruited allows users under 18 to register and use the platform, but users under 13 are not permitted to use the Services. We require that users under 16 obtain verifiable parental consent before creating an account or uploading videos. Parents or legal guardians may request access to, modification of, or deletion of their child’s Personal Data using the method described in the Contact Us section..
User-Generated Content
SimplyRecruited allows Coaches and Players to upload and manage recruiting-related content, including videos, photos, highlights, athletic statistics, and personal introductions. Profiles created within the Services may include media you choose to submit to showcase your recruiting potential or to highlight your program’s offerings. This content may include Personal Data and is voluntarily provided by the user. The Services also support in-app messaging and match-based communication, which allows Coaches and Players to request connections, accept matches, and exchange private messages. Messages, match requests, and chat history are stored securely within the platform and are not visible to non-parties. SimplyRecruited does not provide public discussion boards, social media posting features, or open forums. Recruiting videos, highlights, testimonials, or optional profile introductions will only be made publicly visible with your explicit consent (for example, featuring a success story or media content on our website or marketing materials).
Coach and Player Messaging Tools:
SimplyRecruited provides in-app messaging features that allow Coaches and Players to communicate directly once a mutual match has been established. All messages are facilitated securely within the platform and are intended solely for coordinating recruiting conversations and sharing relevant information between connected users. Messaging is limited to matched users only. Coaches cannot message Players who have not accepted a connection request, and vice versa. This protects user privacy and maintains recruiting integrity. SimplyRecruited does not monitor private conversations between Coaches and Players, nor do we access or retain any content exchanged on personal devices outside of the platform.
Third-Party Communication and Recruiting Integrations:
SimplyRecruited may allow Coaches and Players to access certain approved third-party tools and integrations, including UTR and WTN profile synchronization, academic verification services, and video hosting or streaming platforms. These integrations are provided to enhance your recruiting experience and improve profile visibility.
Coaches may also share external URLs (e.g., university websites, athletic program links, or highlight reels) within their profiles or messages. Because these links are user-submitted, SimplyRecruited does not verify the accuracy or safety of external content. Users access these links at their own risk. SimplyRecruited does not control the data handling, security, or privacy practices of third-party platforms and encourages both Coaches and Players to use discretion when sharing personal information outside of our core Services.
Communication and Marketing
We may use your Personal Data to contact you with newsletters, platform updates, recruiting tips, promotional offers, and subscription-related announcements that may be of interest to you. This may include service updates, referral rewards, subscription upgrades, feature launches, and special discounts on premium plans. We may also send recruiting-related communications, such as new coach sign-ups, updated player profiles, and highlights of upcoming recruiting events or opportunities. You may opt out of receiving marketing or promotional communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link provided in our emails or by updating your preferences in your account settings. SimplyRecruited may also use automated tools such as push notifications, in-app alerts, and limited SMS reminders to support your use of the Services. These may be used to notify you of new matches, unread messages, recruiting updates, or subscription changes. All automated communications will comply with applicable consent and telecommunications laws, and you may opt out of non-essential automated messages at any time by adjusting your notification settings in the app.
Usage Data
We may collect information about how you interact with the SimplyRecruited platform to improve performance, personalize your experience, and enhance recruiting results. This may include technical and diagnostic details such as:
• Your device type, operating system, and browser version
• Internet Protocol (IP) address and general location
• Device identifiers and analytics data
• Pages and profiles you view within the platform
• Search filters you apply when browsing Coaches or Players
• Number of swipes, likes, and matches generated
• Messaging activity, including timestamps and delivery confirmations
• Session duration and navigation patterns within the app
When using a mobile device, we may also collect additional data such as push notification tokens, app version details, and diagnostic performance reports to help us resolve technical issues and optimize functionality.
Location Data
We may collect and use location information (“Location Data”) if you give us permission to do so, in order to improve your recruiting experience and enhance platform functionality. Location data may be collected automatically (e.g., through your device’s GPS or IP address) or through manual user input, such as entering your country, state, or school preferences. For Players, location data may be used to filter and search for schools by state, division, or proximity, and to better match you with Coaches recruiting within your region. For Coaches, location data may be used to highlight recruiting opportunities for players within your targeted regions and improve your visibility to relevant candidates. Location data is optional and you can enable or disable location permissions at any time through your device or browser settings. If you choose not to share location data, certain search filters or localized features may be limited, but core platform functionality will remain available.
Geolocation-Based Restrictions and Content Delivery:
SimplyRecruited may restrict or adjust certain features, recruiting tools, or subscription options based on your location in order to comply with applicable laws, institutional policies, or governing athletic regulations. These restrictions may include:
• Limiting access to certain Coaches or Players based on NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA eligibility rules
• Restricting subscription features or pricing by country or region
• Adjusting content visibility or messaging availability to comply with local recruiting regulations
• Limiting payment options where certain processors or currencies are not supported
These restrictions are enforced based on IP address, device settings, and user-provided information. By using the Services, you acknowledge that some features may be unavailable in your region due to legal, operational, or compliance-related requirements.
Camera & Photos
We may request access to your device’s camera to enable optional features, including uploading profile photos, recording recruiting videos, and submitting highlight reels or other media content for your profile. Any photos or videos uploaded are used solely for their intended purpose, to enhance your recruiting profile and improve visibility to Coaches or Players, and are processed through secure systems. We do not collect or store government-issued IDs, passports, or sensitive identification documents, and we do not access your device’s full photo library or unrelated media without your permission. All camera permissions are optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time through your device or browser settings..
Recruiting Media, Uploaded Content, and Communications
SimplyRecruited does not record live coaching sessions, private conversations, or any user activity without consent. The platform allows Coaches and Players to upload recruiting videos, highlight reels, photos, and other media voluntarily to enhance their profiles and improve visibility within the platform. Any uploaded media is managed directly by the user who submits it and is stored securely in accordance with this Privacy Policy. SimplyRecruited does not access, edit, or modify private media files beyond what is necessary to deliver the Services. In-app messaging between Coaches and Players is private and is not monitored, recorded, or shared by SimplyRecruited. Any videos or content that you choose to make publicly visible, such as highlight reels or profile media, will only be displayed based on your explicit preferences within your account settings. SimplyRecruited is not responsible for any misuse of uploaded content by other users, including unauthorized sharing, copying, or distribution outside of the platform. Users are encouraged to exercise discretion when uploading personal media or sensitive information.
Information Third Parties Provide About You
We may receive limited information about you from approved third-party service providers that support the SimplyRecruited platform and recruiting process. These providers may share technical or demographic data to help us manage platform functionality, process transactions, verify academic or athletic information, and improve recruiting matches. This may include:
• Payment processors that securely handle subscription payments and may provide transaction confirmations or billing metadata
• UTR and WTN integrations that allow players to sync or verify their rankings within their profiles
• Academic verification services that confirm standardized test scores or other eligibility criteria when voluntarily provided
• Analytics and performance monitoring providers that help us evaluate user engagement, optimize search tools, and improve overall platform functionality
• Customer support systems that allow us to resolve inquiries and provide technical assistance
SimplyRecruited does not use peer-submitted user data or any referral systems that expose personal information between users.
Tracking and Cookies Data
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how users interact with the SimplyRecruited platform, improve recruiting matches, and enhance overall performance. Cookies are small files that may include a unique anonymous identifier and are stored on your device. Tracking technologies may also include beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and analyze data. This may include understanding:
• How Coaches and Players search for profiles and apply recruiting filters
• How users view videos, highlight reels, and profile media
• How frequently profiles are viewed, liked, or matched
• How users interact with subscription features, notifications, and UTR/WTN syncing
You can configure your browser to refuse all cookies or to notify you when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of the Services may not function properly without cookies. You may manage your cookie preferences or withdraw consent at any time by adjusting your browser settings or using tools provided within the platform, including any cookie management banner or link labeled “Cookie Preferences” where available.

Use of Data
SimplyRecruited never sells your information to any third party. We collect and use your Personal Data to operate the platform, support recruiting activities, and enhance your overall experience. When you register for a SimplyRecruited account, the information you provide is used to create and manage your profile, process subscription payments, match Coaches and Players, and personalize your recruiting journey.
The Company may also use your data for purposes including, but not limited to:
• To provide, maintain, and improve the platform and its recruiting features
• To enable personalized profile recommendations and optimized recruiting matches
• To process subscription transactions, manage your account, and apply referral rewards
• To deliver updates on new features, recruiting events, and subscription benefits
• To allow you to participate in interactive features, including in-app messaging, likes, matches, and video uploads
• To provide customer support and technical assistance
• To monitor and improve the performance and reliability of the platform
• To perform analytics on profile searches, rankings, and match rates to enhance user experience
• To send personalized recruiting insights, subscription reminders, and marketing promotions based on your preferences
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, unauthorized activity, and technical issues
• To comply with legal, regulatory, and institutional recruiting requirements, including NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA rules
• To support internal operations, such as data analysis, research, testing, and platform development
• To better understand user behavior and recruiting trends to improve product development and matching algorithms
• To provide notifications about likes, matches, messages, and subscription-related updates unless you opt out
In some cases, we may also use your data for other purposes disclosed at the time of collection or with your explicit consent.
User Responsibility for Eligibility and Compliance
SimplyRecruited connects Coaches and Players for college recruiting purposes but does not guarantee, review, or independently verify the accuracy of information submitted by users, including rankings, test scores, academic records, or eligibility status. Coaches and Players are solely responsible for ensuring that their recruiting activities comply with applicable rules and regulations, including but not limited to NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA recruiting standards. These may include restrictions on communication, scholarship offers, eligibility timelines, and transfer requirements. Users are encouraged to confirm the accuracy of any information shared through the platform and to verify institutional or conference-specific rules before making recruiting decisions. SimplyRecruited does not supervise recruiting discussions, does not control user behavior, and does not accept liability for any actions, agreements, or outcomes resulting from connections made through the platform.
Retention of Data
SimplyRecruited uses commercially reasonable measures to retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Personal Data is retained for as long as your account remains active and may be stored beyond that period as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support ongoing recruiting activity. In certain cases, retention may also be extended to comply with legal, regulatory, or institutional recruiting requirements, including NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA compliance rules, or to address operational, security, or dispute resolution needs. Data related to profiles, uploaded videos, highlight reels, messages, likes, matches, recruiting activity, subscription records, and payment history may be retained as long as necessary to support fraud prevention, subscription audits, customer support inquiries, or user complaints. SimplyRecruited also retains Usage Data, including search filters, match analytics, and feature performance data, for internal analysis and platform improvements. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period unless it is needed to improve security, resolve technical issues, or comply with applicable laws.
Transfer of Data
SimplyRecruited may transfer, store, and process your information, including Personal Data, on servers or systems located outside of your state, province, or country, including in India. Data protection laws in these locations may differ from those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your data in India, in the United States, and in other jurisdictions where SimplyRecruited or its trusted service providers operate. We use commercially reasonable measures to ensure that your data is handled securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including encryption, access controls, and contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required. These transfers may include, but are not limited to, our payment processors, UTR and WTN ranking integrations, analytics partners, cloud hosting providers, and customer support platforms. All third-party providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing services to SimplyRecruited.
Business Transaction
If SimplyRecruited is involved in a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, investment transaction, or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred as part of the business assets. Such transfers may include user profiles, uploaded videos, highlight reels, messages, recruiting history, subscription data, and usage analytics.We will use commercially reasonable measures to provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy. If required by applicable law, we will also seek your consent before completing the transfer.
Disclosure for Law Enforcement
SimplyRecruited may be required to disclose your Personal Data when necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or valid requests by public authorities, including courts, government agencies, law enforcement entities, or other regulatory bodies. This may include account identifiers, subscription records, payment information, uploaded media, recruiting activity, or communications conducted through the platform if relevant to a lawful investigation or required to fulfill obligations under NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA compliance rules.
Legal Requirements
SimplyRecruited may disclose your Personal Data in good faith when such disclosure is reasonably believed to be necessary for any of the following purposes:
• To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or recruiting-related compliance requirements, including NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA rules
• To protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of SimplyRecruited, its personnel, or its users
• To investigate or prevent potential misconduct, fraud, or abuse involving the platform
• To respond to reported incidents involving Coaches, Players, or recruiting-related activities
• To safeguard the personal safety of users or the general public
• To defend against legal claims and reduce potential liability
Security of Data
The security of your data is important to us, and SimplyRecruited uses commercially reasonable measures to protect your Personal Data and uploaded content, including recruiting videos, highlight reels, and profile information. These measures may include encryption, firewalls, secure server hosting, role-based access controls, and regular security assessments to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. Payment information and subscription-related data are processed exclusively through trusted third-party providers that maintain industry-standard security protocols and are contractually obligated to protect your information. While we strive to safeguard your data, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that affects your Personal Data, we will notify you as required by applicable federal and state laws. When required, this notification will include details about the nature of the breach, the type of data involved, and steps you can take to protect yourself. Where appropriate, we may also notify regulators or other authorities as required by law.

SimplyRecruited does not currently respond to browser-based Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals. Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to indicate that you do not want to be tracked online, and you can enable or disable this feature through your browser’s Preferences or Settings page. In addition to the rights explained in this Privacy Policy, California residents who provide Personal Information (as defined under CalOPPA) to obtain products or services for personal, family, or household purposes are entitled to request, once per calendar year, information about any Personal Information we may have shared, if applicable, with other businesses for their direct marketing purposes. If applicable, this includes the categories of Personal Information shared and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared such data in the immediately preceding calendar year. Service Providers
SimplyRecruited may engage trusted third-party companies and individuals (“Service Providers”) to help us operate, improve, and deliver our Services, including supporting recruiting activities, analytics, and platform functionality. This may include payment processors, video and media hosting platforms, messaging and notification tools, analytics providers, ranking integrations such as UTR and WTN, marketing service providers, and subscription management systems. These Service Providers may only access the Personal Data necessary to perform their specific tasks on our behalf, are required to protect your information under strict confidentiality and data security agreements, and are prohibited from using your Personal Data for any independent purpose.
Payments
We may provide paid services within the platform. In such cases, we use third-party services for secure payment processing. SimplyRecruited does not collect or store your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors, whose use of your personal information is governed by their respective privacy policies. These payment processors comply with the standards set by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), which is managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment data. Children Under the Age of 18
SimplyRecruited allows users under the age of 18, including junior and senior high school students, to create accounts and use the Services in order to participate in the college recruiting process, but users under 13 are not permitted to use the Services. Users under the age of 16 may register and provide personal information only with verified parental or guardian consent, and SimplyRecruited takes reasonable steps to ensure that such consent is obtained where required. We do not knowingly collect information from users under 16 without appropriate consent, and if we become aware that information was collected without proper authorization, we will delete that data promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from a minor without verified consent, please contact us using the method described in the Contact Us section.
